We had another table ordered from a different dealer but due to Covid and supply chain issues the table could not be delivered. This was a blessing in disguise. Pooltables.com was able to ship my table quickly and after a few weeks from placing my order - I was playing pool. The Bridgeport table is similar to a fine piece of furniture. It is all hardwood, popular I believe, and is beautifully finished. The builders used a wire wheel, from my research, to create depth to the wood finish. If you take your hand and run it along the rails you will see and feel the rustic grooves in the wood. This gives the wood dimension and a rustic feel not found in most tables and not any in this price range. The finish is mat and because it doesn’t have that high gloss fake finish it’s not very durable. I wouldn't purchase this table if you have kids who will play on it rough, put drinks down on the edge, and abuse it. If that is the case call the company and tell them you want a table that has a more durable finish. If you like to buy nice things and take care of them you will love this table. My wife has a habit of dropping her shoulder when she breaks which causes the stick to hit the edge of the table. The finish immediately came off. After fixing the rail we now put down a washcloth for protection when we break this has alleviated any damage to the wood finish. Like I said this table is rustic and beautiful and if you take care of it there are no issues. I thought the wood on the sides of the table would be too much but it isn't. The table looks so much better in person. We just love the rustic look which goes along with a dart board cabinet finished in pallet wood and our overall rustic feel in the room. The table is pretty heavy which is what you want so it doesn’t move and has nice touches such as real stone inlaid, leather pockets, and wood finger joints found on higher end furniture. I watched the installer put the table together which took a few hours and the table is very solid and well built. We chose a camel color for the felt that compliments the darker wood. The salesman let us pick two colors and we were able to pick the best one once we saw it in person. The other color was championship green. It didn’t work with the wood finish. Olive is supposed to be nice too. OK. Here are some things I didn't like. The finish is not that durable, as stated. It will be fine for adult users who take care of their things. The pockets could sit a little flatter on the rail but what is really annoying is that there are times we will have to move the balls from one pocket to another because they fill up quickly. It's not a deal breaker and probably pretty standard unless you buy a bar table that has an automatic return. Other than that the table is fantastic. The slate was lost by the shipper. I called Chris who is an amazing person and he sent out another bundle of slate which came quickly. Chris didn't make me wait to track the order. This saved me a lot of time and frustration. When the new slate arrived the installer put on the wrong felt without asking me if I wanted to wait for the original felt to ship. Chris also offered to have the installers come back and put on the felt I had originally ordered. I would give customer service 5 stars which is my highest rating. Chris kept in constant contact via phone and sometimes by email. He was wonderful and bent over backwards to make us happy. The installers did a great job but one guy shot a staple in his finger so a few pockets were put on crooked. I guess it’s hard to work through the pain. I fired over a few pics to Chris and he had the installers come back, rather quickly, and they fixed the pockets. We looked at other rustic tables that are manufactured by leading names for a lot more money but you will not find a better table for the money and I doubt you will find better customer service anywhere. We would buy this table again in a heartbeat.
