Pool Table Shipping and Delivery
PoolTables.com offers the fastest fulfillment time in the business. Our pool tables are crated and handled with the utmost care. Once your pool table order has been processed, you will be sent an email with tracking and delivery information. You will have the ability to 'track' your pool table as it is en route. This email is sent to the email address you provide us. It is very important that you read your email as the email will contain important delivery information as well. You will be contacted by the shipper the day before delivery is to take place to establish a delivery time. The Free Shipping included with your pool table does not include unloading it from the truck. You are responsible for removing the pool table from the truck (this will require at least two adults). If you would like to upgrade your shipping, you may do so at a cost of $199. If you upgrade your shipping, the delivery truck will be equipped with a lift gate. If you pay for the lift gate and your driveway is accessible by a 28' tractor trailer, the delivery truck can back up to your garage entrance and unload the pool table from the truck at your garage. Even if you get the lift gate delivery, you must check the contents of the shipment to insure that nothing is noticeably damaged and that each piece of slate is removed from the special crate to make sure it is not damaged. The pool table cannot be brought into your home because of liability and labor issues. At our discretion we may ship through any major moving companies.
**PoolTables.com ships free only to the lower 48 States.
Problems with Pool Table Delivery
If the pool table is damaged in any way, please sign for the table as damaged. If you sign the delivery form free and clear of damage, you are stating that you received your pool table in good condition. If there is a problem, please contact us immediately and we will sort out any issues with the delivery truck driver. If there is a problem with your billiard table, it is very important that you don't throw anything away, including the crate. Set everything in a safe area and contact us immediately. There will be a short investigation performed by the shipping company to determine who is at fault. If you sign the delivery form free and clear of damage, you are stating that you received your pool table in good condition and that the damage happened after delivery. Please keep all crating materials together with the pool table as this will speed up the process. Please do not be scared by this warning. Damage occurs in much less than .5% of shipments. Your responsibility is to make sure no boxes have visible damage and that each piece of slate is inspected to make sure they are still intact. If there is damage, simply sign for the pool table as damaged and we'll take care of you.
Pool tables are big and heavy. They are delivered to your home in a large moving van. Your home must be accessible by a tractor/trailer that is 28' in length and 14' tall and you must have a paved driveway (for a pallet jack or dolly). If your home is not accessible by a truck of this size, you can arrange to pick up your pool table in a local parking lot such as a grocery store. The table will fit in a full-size pickup truck. Please notify us if alternative delivery is needed.
